The thoughts of amity
(for International Day of Peace on 21 September)
Wars often arise out of flawed reasons
But, unaccounted for is the destruction,
The devastation of ‘life-giving nature’
The pollution of entire ‘atmosphere’;
Who counters the ruthless forces of ruin?
And, who accounts for all these invasions?

06.07.2014 • Several weeks have passed since I arrived to my home in Malaga, Espana, but I close my eyes and clearly see the starry sky of the mystic and beautiful Altai, where there are so many stars that YOU FEEL you can reach them with your own hands. It seems as if the time there stands still and remains like hundred years ago.

16.04.2014 • "£600 million of UK aid money is going to help companies like Unilever and Monsanto take over African land and agriculture, writes Miriam Ross. The corporate power-grab will be disastrous for the small-scale farmers who feed at least 70% of Africa's people. // Miriam Ross
Judging simply by its name, the New Alliance for Food Security and Nutrition sounds like a worthy initiative. Just the kind of thing we should be spending international aid money on, you might think. But look just a little closer, and it becomes clear that the scheme, launched by the G8 governments along with the biggest global food and agriculture companies, has little to do with feeding undernourished people."

25.01.2013 • "Throughout history the government always tended to be viewed as the most powerful element in a nation. This may be due to the fact that the elements of destruction are always in its hands. Such elements are the military and the police force, both of which carry weapons of devastation that are often used abusively. In general, they are hardly ever held accountable for the destruction of the infrastructure of cities and the incarceration of even law-abiding citizens.

06.08.2012 • Many scientific analyses prove today that our planet is totally overburdened in many ways, from a world political, social and economic point of view. The earthly resources are plenty, however, the excessive use by Western civilizations (based on greed, unlimited consumption, luxury, ruthlessness and unscrupulousness) would require – according to scientists – a total of 3 planets of the Earth type to make up for the present-day demands.
The critical political and social conditions all over the world lead us to propose the following political ideas to all people and leading institutions in politics, economy, society and culture. We all are aware of the fact that the existing overkill-potential of ABC-weapons can destroy our planet and its entire population (including fauna and flora) multiple times.
The future of our planet is severely endangered. Many nations continue to invest increasing amounts of money into even more aggressive and more harmful technologies. According to the official version these weapons are needed for our "self-defence". The misuse of military and economic power, sometimes even in the disguise of peace corps, continues, and so-called prevention activities seems to justify military action. Therefore, especially smaller states - not having too much political or military power - will have to call an own world-wide initiative into being, for the future of mankind. Apart from some positive events such as the peaceful ending of the Soviet Union, or China's integration into the world community, the history over the past 50 years clearlyshows the failure of the present form of the United Nations.
